DPR: Baru 34,5 Persen Yang Bisa Akses Layanan Pendidikan Online

Pemerintah didesak agar memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran pelajar seluruh Indonesia di tengah wabah Covid-19.

“Hanya sekitar 34,5 persen yang bisa mengakses layanan pendidikan online," kata Wakil Ketua Komisi X DPR, Abdul Fikri Faqih, di Semarang, Sabtu (4/4). Di tengah wabah Covid-19 ini, pemerintah pusat mengeluarkan kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) dalam rangka percepatan penanganan wabah tersebut. Per hari ini (4/4), jumlah kasus positif sebanyak 1986 kasus dan 181 di antaranya meninggal dunia.

Fikri menilai, kebijakan PSBB sudah tepat dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk pencegahan penyebaran virus yang lebih massif. "Termasuk di institusi pendidikan yang memang tempat banyak orang berkumpul. Sudah tepat jika diliburkan, tetapi harus ada pengganti agar Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) dapat tetap berjalan," ujar anggota dari Fraksi PKS ini.

Dia menuturkan, dari 514 kota/kabupaten di Indonesia, berdasar data yang diperoleh dari penyedia penyedia edukasi berbasis online pada RDPU dengan Komisi X beberapa hari lalu, terdapat 176 kota/kabupaten yang sudah terakses layanan edutech ini. "Hanya 34,5 persen yang terakses, berarti ada 65 persen lebih daerah yang belum menjangkau materi-materi pembelajaran yang mereka sediakan," tambah Fikri.

Dengan persentase tersebut, dari 43,5 juta pelajar se-Indonesia, hanya sekitar 10 juta siswa yang mengakses materi pembelajaran dari platform online. "Ada 33,5 juta siswa yang tidak mendapatkan materi pembelajaran," sambungnya. "Pemerintah perlu melakukan terobosan dalam waktu singkat dan cepat supaya mereka terselamatkan," desak legislator yang pernah menjadi kepala sekolah ini.

Meski UN sudah ditiadakan dan diganti dengan nilai atau akumulasi nilai semester sebelumnya, Fikri menilai semua pihak harus bekerjasama dalam penanganan Covid-19 dengan mengupayakan seluruh pelajar dapat memperoleh haknya di bidang pendidikan meski tetap di rumah saja
