“Boikot pariwisata Indonesia…!!!” “Pemerintah China harus tegas terhadap Indonesia…!!!” “Sebrutal apakah kau, Indonesia…?” “Hentikan bantuan asing ke Indonesia…!!!” “Masukkan kebrutalan Indonesia di buku sejaran kita…!!!” Itulah beberapa potongan protes keras blogger China sebagai reaksi atas film “The Act of Killing/Jagal”. Mengejutkan tentunya, di tengah peningkatan hubungan Indonesia dan China hingga melejit sebagai poros kekuatan baru dunia. Juga di tengah perayaan keberagaman di tanah air, pasca kepimpinan Abdurahman Wahid. Tiba-tiba terdengar reaksi mengejutkan, yang kontan menjadi sorotan dunia.   Saya yang benar-benar tidak pernah mendengar judul film ini, menjadi sangat penasaran (padahal film ini telah diputar sejak tahun 2012, namun kembali muncul di permukaan akhir-akhir ini).
