Batanghari Kekurangan Ratusan Guru Berstatus ASN

BATANGHARI- Permasalahan kekurangan tenaga pendidik yang berstatus ASN masih sangat dirasakan hampir seluruh sekolah d Indonesia, tidak terkecuali di Batanghari.

Berdasarkan data yang berhasil dihimpun dari Disdikbud Batanghari, Kabupaten tertua di Provinsi Jambi ini masih kekurangan 657 guru yang berstatus ASN.

Kekurangan ini terjadi hampir diseluruh sekolah, mulai tingkat SD hingga SMP. Tenaga pendidik yang masih minim diantaranya guru kelas, jasamani, kesehatan (PJOK) dan guru agama.

“Yang paling dominan terjadi pada jenjang pendidikan SMP dengan jumlah total kekurangan 335 guru. Sedangkan SD terjadi kekurangan 322 guru,” ungkap Kasi Dikdas Disdikbud Batanghari, Umi Kalsum.

Menurutnya, dengan jumlah sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Batanghari, semestinya Batanghari memerlukan 2.506 guru. Sementara jumlah yang ada hanya 1.849 guru.

“Jadi, jika dilihat dengan jumlah yang dibutuhkan dengan yang ada sekarang, Kita ada kekurangan 657 guru untuk di Batanghari. Dan mayoritas kekurangan ini terjadi di Bajubang. Seperti guru kelas,” ujarnya. (rza
