Dr. Putra adalah tenaga pengajar di Universitas Sebelas Maret, Solo. Beliau adalah Linguist Specialist di ALPHA-I, sebuah Lembaga yang menaungi Alumni beasiswa USAID. Dr. Putra memperoleh gelar S1 di Universitas Lampung (UNILA). Kemudian mendapatkan beasiswa S2 jurusan TESOL dari USAID di The University of Arizona, Amerika Serikat. Kemudian, pada tahun 2014 kembali melanjutkan kuliah Doktoral di kampus yang sama dengan beasiswa LPDP, pada jurusan Applied Lingusitics. Disertasi beliau tentang peran teknologi, sekolah, dan generasi muda dalam upaya pelestarian bahasa daerah di Indonesia.

Pada sesi ini, Dr. Putra akan membahas:
1. Di Indonesia, ada 11 Bahasa daerah yang telah punah (Kemdikbud, 2017), Apa penyebabnya?
2. Bahasa daerah yang punah adalah ancaman, atau malah simbol nasionalisme yang meningkat?
3. Seberapa penting bahasa daerah diajarkan kembali di sekolah?
4. Sebagian besar bahasa daerah yang punah dan kritis ada di wilayah Timur, mengapa?
5. Bahasa daerah vs bahasa asing? Mana yang lebih penting diajarkan di sekolah?
6. Apa perbedaan isu bahasa daerah di Indonesia dan di negara lain?
7. Peran generasi milenial dan generasi "Z" serta literasi digital dalam pelestarian bahasa daerah.
