Guru di Jambi Dapat Pelatihan Hadapi New Normal

DG-Jambi. Sejumlah guru di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Provinsi Jambi, diberikan pelatihan terkait teknis pencegahan penularan COVID-19. Pelatihan ini diberikan dalam rangka untuk menghadapi tatanan normal baru selama pandemi COVID-19.

“Kegiatan ini penting dilakukan agar tenaga pendidik sadar akan pentingnya protokol kesehatan COVID-19,” kata Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Junaedi Rahmad di Jambi, Jumat (12/6).

Ada 72 guru di daerah itu yang mengikuti pelatihan untuk menghadapi tatanan normal baru tersebut. Guru-guru tersebut diberikan pemahaman terkait protokol kesehatan yang wajib diterapkan di sekolah.

Di antaranya menghindari kontak fisik seperti bersalaman, cium tangan dan berpelukan serta menggunakan masker dan sesering mungkin mencuci tangan dengan sabun di air mengalir atau menggunakan hand sanitizer.

Tenaga pendidik tersebut juga diberikan pengetahuan tentang apa itu COVID-19, bagaimana gejala jika terserang COVID-19. Para guru juga diberikan pengetahuan tanda-tanda orang yang terinfeksi COVID-19 serta bagaimana cara penularan COVID-19 dan bagaimana cara memutus mata rantai penularan virus tersebut.

Pengetahuan tersebut penting diberikan kepada tenaga pendidik agar mereka juga dapat memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Dengan harapan mata rantai penularan COVID-19 dapat di putus dan tatanan kehidupan dapat berjalan normal kembali.

“Pencegahan virus corona harus dimulai dari diri sendiri dengan menerapkan disiplin, kami meminta agar hal-hal seperti ini mendapatkan perhatian penuh dari warga sekolah," kata Junaedi.

Pelatihan terhadap guru-guru di daerah itu dilakukan secara dalam jaringan (daring) atau secara virtual. Dokter dari Puskesmas Simpang Pandan dr. Dhitya Ilma Octavina Harahap menjadi pemateri dalam pelatihan tersebut.

Dhitya Ilma Octavina Harahap mengatakan pelatihan tersebut penting dilakukan agar tenaga pendidik mengetahui langkah-langkah yang diambil saat memberikan pengajar di masa pendemi COVID-19. “Ini merupakan langkah baik, guru-guru di Tanjab Timur mengetahui apa itu Covid-19, dan yang terpenting juga mencegah-nya,” kata dr Dhitya.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity.
