Kemendikbud: Tidak Ada Rencana Peleburan Pelajaran Agama

Terkait informasi beredar di masyarakat soal penghapusan pelajaran agama, Kemendikbud menegaskan tidak ada rencana peleburan mata Pelajaran Agama dengan Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKN).

Hal ini disampaikan Kepala Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan dan Perbukuan (Kabalitbangbuk) Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud), Totok Suprayitno, Kamis (18/06/2020).

Kemendikbud memang terus melakukan kajian terkait penyederhanaan kurikulum, tetapi belum ada keputusan apapun.

"Bahan diskusi terakhir yang disampaikan ke saya adalah susunan kelompok mata pelajaran tidak digabung seperti itu, tetapi tetap berdiri sendiri seperti yang berlaku saat ini," tegas Kabalitbangbuk Totok Suprayitno.

Isu soal peleburan Pelajaran Agama

Sebelumnya, beredar informasi di media sosial terkait materi diskusi mengenai penyederhanaan kurikulum.

Berdasarkan informasi yang juga beredar di beberapa grup percakapan daring tersebut, tampak sebuah paparan usulan peleburan mata pelajaran Agama kelas 1--3 Sekolah Dasar. 

"Yang diramaikan itu adalah bahan diskusi awal internal di antara tim kerja kurikulum. Diskusi masih terus berlangsung dan saat ini belum ada keputusan apapun dari kementerian," tegas Totok.

Pelaksana Tugas Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Pendidikan Dasar, dan Pendidikan Menengah (Plt. PAUD Dikdasmen) Hamid Muhammad juga menegaskan sampai saat ini tidak ada rencana Kemendikbud melakukan penyederhanaan kurikulum dengan peleburan mata pelajaran Agama.

Menurutnya, pembahasan penyederhanaan kurikulum oleh Ditjen PAUD Dikdasmen, Ditjen Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan, serta Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan dilakukan agar pembelajaran berjalan lebih efektif.

"Pusat Kurikulum menyiapkan penyederhanaan kurikulum yang disertai penyusunan berbagai modul pendukungnya," pungkas Hamid.
