PGRI: 85,5 Persen Orang Tua Khawatir Sekolah Dibuka Lagi


DIONEG-Jambi. Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) mengadakan survei kepada orang tua, guru dan peserta didik di 34 provinsi. Berdasarkan survei tersebut, sebanyak 85,5 persen orang tua khawatir jika sekolah dibuka kembali.

Melalui keterangan resminya, PGRI melakukan survei kepada 61.913 orang tua, 19,296 guru, dan 64.386 peserta didik. Survei disebar melalui jaringan organisasi di 514 kabupaten/kota di seluruh Indonesia.

"Hanya 14,5 persen orang tua yang tidak khawatir jika putra putrinya kembali ke sekolah," kata Unifah, Selasa (2/6).

Mayoritas orang tua nampaknya tetap menghendaki pembelajaran dilanjutkan dengan cara dalam jaringan (daring). Orang tua merasa khawatir apabila sekolah dibuka kembali di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yang saat ini masih belum memperlihatkan penurunan signifikan.

Berdasarkan survei tersebut juga, sebanyak 72,2 persen orang tua 72,2 persen sementara sisanya 27,8 persen tidak setuju. Mereka juga menyatakan, siswa mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) dengan baik sebanyak 68,5 persen dan 31,5 persen menyatakan belum baik.

Sementara kesiapan guru dalam menghadapi new normal adalah 53,5 persen menyatakan siap, sisanya 46,5 persen menyatakan belum siap. Di sisi lain, terkait perpanjangan PJJ hingga akhir Desember 2020, sebanyak 42,6 persen siswa menyatakan setuju sementara 57,4 persen manyatakan tidak setuju.

"Perlu evaluasi dan perbaikan pelaksanaan PJJ agar ke depan lebih baik dan siswa merasa nyaman," kata Sekjen PB PGRI, Ali Rahim.
