Panduan Orang Tua tentang Belajar di Rumah

DEG- Aktivitas belajar mengajar terlihat sangat berbeda tahun ini. Sebagian besar siswa tak kembali ke kelas untuk sementara waktu.


Masih maraknya peningkatan kasus Covid-19, sekolah-sekolah tidak memulai tahun ajaran baru di dalam kelas. Ketua Departemen Perkembangan Anak dan Remaja di San Jose State University, Emily Slusser, memberi sejumlah tip untuk membantu orang tua membuat penyesuaian model sekolah baru.

Pertama, mulai dengan mengenal anak lagi tetapi dari sudut pandang seorang guru. Apa saja kelebihan dan minat anak? Apa yang bisa mereka lakukan sendiri? Apa yang bisa mereka lakukan dengan bantuan orang lain? Apa hal yang perlu mereka siapkan?

"Kita berikan dukungan dan struktur bagi anak-anak untuk belajar," kata Slusser seperti dilansir di laman sanfransisco.local.com, Kamis (6/8).

Sebagai orang tua dan pendidik di rumah, orang tua perlu memikirkan apa yang hilang dari anak-anak, misalnya jadwal di sekolah. Orang tua bisa merumuskan ulang struktur dan jadwal sekolah di rumah.

Bangun waktu yang memungkinkan mereka terlibat dalam pertukaran sosial dengan teman sebayanya. Saat anak belajar di kelas, mereka melakukan percakapan informal, seperti kehidupan pribadi, peristiwa di dunia nyata.

Orang tua juga harus menjadwalkan anak melakukan latihan fisik. Namun tak hanya pengaturan olahraga terstruktur, orang tua juga harus memikirkan waktu istirahat anak seperti di sekolah. Bangun lingkungan sekolah di rumah. Orang tua juga bisa mengajak anak terlibat dalam pekerjaan sehari-hari di rumah.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community.
