Kemendikbud: Kurikulum Darurat untuk Kurangi Beban Guru dan Siswa

Direktur Jenderal Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan, Iwan Syahril menyampaikan alasan mengapa Kemendikbud mengeluarkan kurikulum darurat di tengah masa kebiasaan baru. Hal itu disampaikan dalam webinar bertajuk “Adaptasi Pembelajaran Kebiasaan Baru dengan Kurikulum Kondisi Khusus pada Tahun Ajaran Baru”, Sabtu (8/8/2020). Dari beberapa survei, lanjut Iwan, di tengah masa kebiasaan baru ini banyak kendala yang dirasakan oleh guru, orang tua dan juga siswa.

Sehingga, fleksibilitas menjadi prinsip dalam kurikulum darurat atau kurikulum kondisi khusus. “Kurikulum kondisi khusus ini juga untuk mengurangi beban guru dan siswa,” kata Iwan seperti dirangkum dari laman GTK Kemendikbud. Pada kesempatan yang sama, Kemendikbud juga meluncurkan modul khusus untuk PAUD dan SD yang bisa menjadi panduan tidak hanya untuk guru, tapi bagi orang tua dan siswa. Modul-modul pembelajaran untuk Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dan Sekolah Dasar (SD) diharapkan mempermudah guru untuk memfasilitasi dan memantau pembelajaran siswa di rumah dan membantu orang tua dalam mendapatkan tips dan strategi dalam mendampingi anak belajar dari rumah

Modul belajar PAUD dijalankan dengan prinsip “Bermain adalah Belajar”. Proses pembelajaran terjadi saat anak bermain serta melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari. Sementara itu, untuk jenjang pendidikan SD modul belajar mencakup rencana pembelajaran yang mudah dilakukan secara mandiri oleh pendamping baik orang tua maupun wali. 

Praktik pembelajaran baik 

Dalam kesempatan sama, seorang guru penggerak Komunitas Guru Belajar Kabupaten Magelang Titik Nur Istiqomah berbagi praktik baik yang dilakukan di sekolah dan memberikan banyak tips terkait pengalaman dan kiat-kiat menghadapi dinamika di masa pandemi. “Pembelajaran di kondisi ini harus berfokus pada kompetensi esensial dan kompetensi prasyarat untuk kelanjutan pembelajaran,” ujar Titik.

Titik juga berterima kasih kepada Kemendikbud atas terbitnya Keputusan Mendikbud Nomor 719/P/2020. “Keputusan ini sangat membantu para guru khususnya dalam menyederhanakan kompetensi dasar yang dapat dipilih sesuai kebutuhan satuan pendidikan,” kata Titik.
