Photo Voice Project

Photo Voice adalah suatu proses untuk menceritakan sesuatu melalui photo. Photo voice juga merupakan metode untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memberikan perbaikan pada kualitas pembelajaran dan pengajaran.

Dalam hal ini Mr. Ginanto, bermaksud mengadakan penelitian menggunakan metode Photo Voice untuk menjawab pertanyaan.
"Bagaimana proses pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris (wajib) di tengah Pandemi Covid-19 di SMAN 1 Batanghari?"


Untuk keobjektifitasan, photo yang Anda ambil adalah untuk memberi masukan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Wajib (bukan bahasa Inggris Minat).

Penelitian ini juga ingin mencari tahu kendala yang dialami siswa agar dapat dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur perbaikan ke depan. Termasuk di dalamnya masukan terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris (Wajib) secara online.
Bagaimana melakukannya:
1.    Silahkan ambil (jepret) satu foto (menggunakan HP) yang mewakili perasaan atau gambaran yang ingin Anda ceritakan tentang pembelajaran Online. Foto bebas, seperti: laptop, handphone, bantal, kamar, halaman rumah, indihome, telkomsel, foto sekolah,  dll. 
2.    Setelah foto didapat, maka Anda harus menceritakan foto tersebut dengan mengacu pada panduan berikut:
-    Deskripsikan Photo Anda
-    Apa yang terjadi pada photo Anda
-    Mengapa Anda mengambil photo tersebut
-    Menceritakan tentang apa photo tersebut (dalam kaitannya dengan pembelajaran Online selama Pandemi?)
-    Bagaimana photo Anda dapat menjadi masukan untuk perbaikan pembelajaran dan pengajaran khususnya mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris (Wajib). Atau apa masukan yang ingin Anda beri untuk peningkatan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris (Wajib), jika ada.

Intinya adalah penelitian ini ingin mendegar dan mendapat masukan dari siswa untuk peningkatan kualitas pengajaran bahasa Inggris.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community.
