Nadiem: 1 Juta Guru Honorer Akan Diangkat jadi PPPK

Mendikbud Nadiem Makarim menyebut Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) mengatakan, jumlah guru honorer yang akan diangkat menjadi PPPK (Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja) cukup banyak.

Nadiem Makarim menyebut, formasi yang tersedia mencapi 1 juta pada 2021.

"Kapasitas formasinya cukup banyak untuk guru honorer sampai satu juta formasi," ujar Mendikbud dalam kunjungannya ke Rote Ndao, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Rabu (11/11).

Dia menjelaskan formasi PPPK tersebut dari daerah.

Namun, permasalahannya pemerintah daerah baru menyiapkan sekitar 200.000 formasi.

Padahal, lanjut Nadiem, kebutuhan PPPK dari halur guru honorer lebih dari jumlah tersebut.

"Oleh karena itu, kami meminta agar daerah benar-benar menyiapkan berapa kebutuhannya. Kepala sekolah juga perlu mendorong kepala dinasnya, sampaikan berapa kebutuhannya," katanya.

Dia menambahkan hal itu merupakan kesempatan bagi guru honorer di daerah 3T (tertinggal, terdepan, terluar) agar bisa diangkat menjadi PPPK.

Pengangkatan tersebut akan dimulai pada 2021 dengan mekanisme seleksi yang berkeadilan.

"Pada 2021 merupakan tahun pertama, kita (pemerintah) memberikan kesempatan yang adil bagi semua guru honorer untuk bisa menjadi PPPK dengan seleksi yang adil, transparan," tuturnya.

Dia berharap hal itu dapat menjadi kesempatan bagi guru honorer untuk bisa mengabdi sebagai PPPK.

"Untuk guru-guru honorer yang sudah bergaji Upah Minimum Regional (UMR) menahan diri dulu. Kita (pemerintah) fokus membenahi kesejahteraan guru honorer yang masih digaji Rp200.000. Namun kerjanya sama dengan yang digaji UMR dan PNS," ujar Nadiem.

Dalam kunjungan ke Rote Ndao tersebut, Nadiem Makarim juga mengunjungi sekolah rusak yang berada di SDN 1 Ndau. (antara/jpnn)
