Pelatihan Guru Jangan Hanya Fokus untuk Tingkatkan PISA

Koordinator Perhimpunan untuk Pendidikan dan Guru (P2G) Satriwan Salim menilai saat ini pelatihan guru terlalu berorientasi kepada Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Menurutnya, pelatihan guru lebih baik didasarkan kepada masalah yang dihadapi guru di lapangan. 


 Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) sejauh ini telah menyusun beberapa kebijakan, di antaranya menggantikan Ujian Nasional (UN) menjadi Asesmen Nasional (AN) dan program guru penggerak. Satriwan menilai, semua tujuan kebijakan tersebut adalah untuk meningkatkan nilai PISA Indonesia.

"Kemendikbud di era sekarang berorientasi peningkatan PISA. Saya rasa tidak semata-mata harus seperti ini, mestinya pelatihan guru itu berdasarkan maslaahnya apa. Apa yang riil dihadapi guru," kata Satriwan, dalam diskusi daring, Jumat (13/11).


Satriwan menjelaskan, permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi guru tidak sekadar terkait dengan PISA. Ia mencontohkan, yang dialami SMK, kekurangan guru produktif. Guru produktif di SMK saat ini masih kebanyakan memiliki latar belakang pendidikan tidak sesuai dengan yang diajarkan.

PISA adalah sebuah hasil survei evaluasi sistem pembelajaran yang mengukur siswa di jenjang pendidikan menengah. Survei ini dilakukan oleh The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), diikuti oleh anak-anak berusia 15 tahun dari 78 negara. Pada tahun 2018, Indonesia berada pada peringkat ke-71.

Terkait dengan kompetensi guru, Satriwan juga mengatakan perlunya untuk memperkuat peran Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). Menurutnya, MGMP adalah tempat para guru berkumpul dan saling berbagi permasalahan pembelajaran.

"MGMP inilah tempat guru berkumpul, mereka ada kegiatan intens, berbagi informasi, jadi harus ada Permendikbud yang memperkuat kelompok kerja guru," kata dia lagi.
