CALL FOR BOOK CHAPTER: Voices of International Students: Educational and Cultural Experiences at UIN STS Jambi


The International Office (PLKI), in collaboration with the International Student Association (PMI) of UIN STS Jambi, invites international students from Thailand and Malaysia currently studying at UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi to contribute to a book chapter.

This book aims to document real-life experiences, personal reflections, and unique perspectives of international students during their time in Indonesia, while promoting cross-cultural understanding within the academic environment.

📌 Writing Themes  
Contributors may choose from the following relevant topics:
- Academic Journey and Adaptation at UIN STS Jambi  
- Cultural Experiences and Social Interactions in Indonesia  
- Religiosity and Spiritual Life Abroad  
- Reflections on Islamic Education Outside One’s Home Country  
- Campus Activities and Student Life

✍️ Writing Guidelines
- Language: English or Bahasa Indonesia 
- Length: 750–1500 words  
- Formatting:  
  - Font: Times New Roman, size 12  
  - Spacing: 1.5, justified alignment  
  - Citations and references must follow APA 7th edition style  
- File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx)  
- Images: Photos may be included  
- Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism

- Active students from Thailand or Malaysia 
- Currently enrolled at UIN STS Jambi  
- Alumni within the past five years may also participate  
- Submissions must be authentic reflections or personal experiences
