PLKI UIN STS Jambi Gelar Pembekalan Magang untuk Mahasiswa Internasional Asal Thailand

Dr. Dion Ginanto memberikan pembekalan pada mahasiswa asal Thailand

Jambi, 26 Juni 2025 — Pusat Layanan Kerjasama Internasional (PLKI) UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi mengadakan kegiatan pembekalan magang sebagai pengganti Kuliah Kerja Nyata (Kukerta) bagi mahasiswa internasional asal Thailand. Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Gedung LPPM UIN STS Jambi dan diikuti oleh empat peserta: Nuriyah, Sarifah, Baliya, dan Makori.

Pembekalan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai budaya kerja di Indonesia, termasuk etika profesional, komunikasi lintas budaya, serta peran dan fungsi International Office dan Bagian Kerjasama dalam konteks perguruan tinggi. Para peserta akan menjalani masa magang selama kurang lebih tiga minggu di dua unit strategis: PLKI dan Bagian Kerjasama UIN STS Jambi.

Koordinator PLKI, Dion Ginanto, menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap kehadiran mahasiswa asing dalam program ini. “Kami menyambut baik kegiatan magang ini sebagai langkah konkret memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan, sekaligus memperluas jejaring internasional kampus. Kehadiran mereka diharapkan dapat memberikan perspektif baru dan memperkaya dinamika kerja di PLKI,” ujarnya.


Melalui magang ini, para mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengimplementasikan ilmu yang telah mereka pelajari di bangku kuliah ke dalam praktik nyata dunia kerja, sekaligus mempererat hubungan bilateral dalam bidang pendidikan antara Indonesia dan Thailand.

Kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari komitmen UIN STS Jambi dalam mendukung internasionalisasi kampus dan membangun ekosistem akademik yang inklusif dan kolaboratif.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community. Thai students Anwar and Baliya received packages from Vice Rector I, while Malaysian students Adam and Azmi were presented with gifts by Vice Rector II and Vice Rector III.
