Silaturahmi dan Pembahasan Rencana Cultural Trip: Bangun Kebersamaan dan Penguatan Internasionalisasi

Jambi, 27 Maret 2025 — Pusat Layanan Kerja Sama Internasional (PLKI) LPPM UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi mengadakan kegiatan silaturahmi yang dirangkai dengan pembahasan rencana Cultural Trip bersama mahasiswa internasional. Acara ini dihadiri oleh perwakilan mahasiswa asal Malaysia dalam suasana penuh keakraban dan dialog terbuka.

Dalam kegiatan tersebut, dibahas rencana pelaksanaan Cultural Trip yang direncanakan akan mengunjungi Pulau Berhala, salah satu destinasi wisata bahari dan budaya di Provinsi Jambi. Perjalanan ini bertujuan memperkenalkan kekayaan alam dan budaya lokal kepada mahasiswa asing, sekaligus mempererat hubungan antarmahasiswa dan pihak kampus.



Koordinator PLKI, Dr. Dion Ginanto, menyampaikan bahwa Cultural Trip merupakan bagian dari program penguatan internasionalisasi kampus. “Melalui kegiatan ini, kami ingin mahasiswa internasional tidak hanya mendapatkan pengalaman akademik, tetapi juga pembelajaran budaya secara langsung. Pulau Berhala menjadi pilihan yang tepat untuk mengenalkan keindahan alam dan nilai sejarah Jambi,” ujar Dion.

Mahasiswa asal Malaysia menyambut antusias rencana tersebut dan menyatakan kesiapan mereka untuk berpartisipasi aktif. Mereka berharap kegiatan seperti ini dapat terus dilakukan secara berkelanjutan guna menambah wawasan, mempererat persahabatan, dan menciptakan kenangan selama menempuh studi di UIN STS Jambi.

PLKI berharap Cultural Trip ke Pulau Berhala ini menjadi awal dari rangkaian program budaya yang bersifat rutin, yang mampu memperkuat peran UIN STS Jambi sebagai kampus yang ramah dan terbuka bagi mahasiswa internasional.
