LPPM UIN SUTHA Jambi Kick Off Program WARKOP LP2M

Jambi- Lembaga Panelitian dan Pagadian Masyarakat (LPPM) UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi meresmikan (kick off) program WARKOP LP2M. Program WARKOP ditujukan untuk memberikan klinik penelitian bagi dosen dan mahasiswa di lingkungan UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. WARKOP sendiri adalah singkatan dari Write-in, Asistensi Jurnal, Riset, Kepenulisan, Obrolan Ilmiah, dan Penerbitan.

Write-in, adalah program memindahkan tempat menulis dari rumah ke kampus. Peserta datang ke ruang perpustakaan LPPM, dan kemudian menulis di ruang nyaman dan tidak tenang. Untuk menunjang kegiatan menulis ini, pihak LPPM meyediakan kopi, teh, dan snack yang semuanya gratis dan self-service. Memberikan ruang yang tenang, dan berada di tengah-tengah kolega yang juga sibuk menulis, serta ditemani kopi dan snack diharapkan mampu meningkatkan semangat dan inspirasi untuk konsisten berkarya. 

                             Peserta Write-in tengah berdiskusi untuk membentuk penelitian bersama.

Sedangkan Asistensi Jurnal, Riset, Kepenulisan, Obrolan Ilmiah, dan Penerbitan, LPPM mengadakan acara dengan konsep Brown-Bag. Brown-Bag di sini diartikan sebagai tas coklat, yang juga berarti peserta diharapkan membawa snack atau makan siang sendiri. Dalam acara Brown Bag ini LPPM mengundag satu pemateri yang akan membedah jurnal yang pernah diterbitkan serta memberikan klinik dan bimbingan agar dapat menembus jurnal Internasional bereputasi.

Dr. Ayub Mursalin, ketua LPPM UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifudin Jambi mengharapkan agar kegiatan WARKOP dapat meningkatakan kualitas dan kuantitas penelitian baik oleh dosen dan mahasiswa di lingkup kampus Green Sutha. Selain itu tentunya WARKOP dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu sarana untuk membentuk budaya ilmiah di lingkungan kampus, yang nantinya dari hasil-hasil penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah dapat memberikan warna tersendiri bagi dosen dan mahasiswa UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi.
