Cross-Cultural Academic Consultation Between Thai Student and PLKI UIN STS Jambi

The International Cooperation Service Center (PLKI) of UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi hosted an academic consultation between Dion Ginanto, PLKI Coordinator, and Arshad, a student from Thailand, on Monday (April 20, 2026). The meeting was part of the university’s commitment to supporting international students in staying on the right academic track.

During the session, Arshad sought advice on strategies for successfully completing his studies and guidance on writing his final thesis. Dion emphasized the importance of academic mentoring for international students who bring diverse cultural and academic traditions. “I am very pleased when students come for office hours and consultations on academic success strategies, especially since they have different cultural and academic traditions,” Dion said.

This activity not only provided a platform for sharing experiences and academic strategies but also reinforced PLKI’s role as a center for supporting international students. Through regular consultations like this, UIN STS Jambi aims to continue fostering academic success while enriching cross-cultural experiences within the campus community.

He should also be well respected by us. So, the king should be strong and have good manners," said the leader from Petajin. "Then, let’s set the criteria. I have a suggestion.
