Hari Guru dan Duka Palestina

Peringatan hari guru kali ini harus diperingati dengan duka. Biasanya hampir seluruh sudut di kecamatan dan kabupaten/kota mengadakan perlombaan-perlombaan untuk merayakan hari guru nasional, 25 November.  Lazimnya, satu minggu sebelum perayaan hari guru, perlombaan serupa 17 Agustus diselenggarakan dan guru menjadi peserta lombanya. Namun hingga kini, tidak begitu banyak kabar tersiar tentang gegap gempita peringatan hari guru di Indonesia.

PGRI, guru dan peserta didik di seluruh sudut Indonesia tengah berduka dengan tragedi genosida di Jalur Gaza dan Tepi Barat, Palestina. Alih-alih menyelenggarakan lomba, banyak sekolah yang ikut turut ke jalan memberikan dukungan pada tragedi bar-bar yang di tunjukkan rezim Israel durjana.

Situasi ini tentu normal, dan justru patut diberikan apresiasi. Guru di tanah air tentu tidak akan rela jika rekan sejawat di Palestina sana tengah di bom, dipenjara, dan disiksa. Guru di tanah air tentu tidak akan relah, jika peserta didik di Palestina sana terbunuh di usia belia. Kaum cendikia di Indonesia tentu tak akan rela jika sekolah-sekolah di Palestina di bom tak bersisa.

Bagaimana murid di tanah air akan mengadakan pesta, sedangkan lebih dari 3100 rekannya di Gaza, gugur di usia muda? Bagaimana guru di tanah air tidak merasa berduka, ketika lebih dari 130 rekan sejawatnya gugur dibom Zionis Israel biadab? Bagaiamana mungkin tenaga pendidik di tanah air mengadakan upacara, sementara 239 sekolah di Gaza dihancurkan oleh Roket Israel tercela? Bagaimana mungkin Pendidik di tanah air merayakan hari guru, sementara 4863 murid di Gaza terluka akibat bom Israel durjana (lihat: www.middleeastmonitor.com)

                Bukan hanya sekolah yang dijadikan target penjajah Israel. Unversitas sebagai candradimuka yang melahirkan intelektual muda, turut menjadi amukan tentara yang tak beretika. Setidaknya terdapat 439 dosen dan tendik perguruan tinggi turut menjadi korban genosida. Ada 11 kampus yang yang rusak, dari ringan hingga rata tak bersisa (www.universityworldnews.com). Lalu bagaimana mungkin para cerdik pandai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia khusuk dalam memperingati haru guru.

                Jikapun mereka menyelenggarakan upacara, harapannya di tengah-tengah mengheningkan cipta, mereka dapat menitipkan doa pada para cendikia yang telah gugur di Palestina. Atau setelah upacara, barangkali mereka akan berkumpul untuk menggalang dana untuk pahlawan Pendidikan di Gaza dan Tepi Barat sana.

Sebagai bentuk bela sungkawa, guru di Indonesia diharapkan tetap konsisten menyuarakan dukungan pada pendidik di Pelestina, yang hingga hari ini belum lepas dari Tindakan bar-bar Israel. Peserta didik di tanah air semoga tetap menyuarakan dukungan pada sesama Murid yang disiksa, dibunuh, dan dipenjara oleh rezim Bar-bar Israel. Tenaga pendidik juga semoga tetap berdiri mendukung sesama tenaga pendidik yang juga dibunuh dan disiksa oleh rezim bar-bar Israel. Seta dosen dan tendik perguruan tinggi tetap aktif menyuarakan Palestina pada dunia akadisnya.
