UIN STS Jambi dan UNIMY Resmi Teken MoU untuk Perkuat Kolaborasi di Bidang Teknologi dan Informasi

Cyberjaya, Malaysia – 1 Agustus 2022 – Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Thaha Saifuddin (UIN STS) Jambi dan University Malaysia of Computer Science and Engineering (UNIMY) secara resmi menandatangani Nota Kesepahaman (MoU) sebagai bentuk komitmen kedua institusi dalam membangun kerja sama strategis di bidang teknologi dan informasi.

Penandatanganan MoU berlangsung di kampus UNIMY, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, dengan dihadiri langsung oleh Rektor UIN STS Jambi, Wakil Rektor I dan III, Direktur Pascasarjana, serta Ketua International Office UIN STS Jambi. Dari pihak UNIMY, hadir Presiden UNIMY dan Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik.

Kerja sama ini diarahkan untuk memperkuat daya saing kedua perguruan tinggi dalam era transformasi digital, mencakup kolaborasi riset, pengembangan teknologi, pertukaran akademik, serta peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia.

“MoU ini menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun jaringan kolaboratif antar institusi yang tidak hanya berbasis akademik, tetapi juga mampu menjawab tantangan global di bidang informasi dan teknologi,” ujar Rektor UIN STS Jambi usai acara penandatanganan.

Dengan terjalinnya kerja sama ini, kedua belah pihak berharap dapat memperluas kontribusi akademik dan teknologi demi kemajuan pendidikan tinggi di kawasan Asia Tenggara.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community. Thai students Anwar and Baliya received packages from Vice Rector I, while Malaysian students Adam and Azmi were presented with gifts by Vice Rector II and Vice Rector III.
