UIN STS Jambi dan IIUM Malaysia Gelar Konferensi Internasional Bertema Keislaman dan Kepemimpinan


Sambutan dari perwakilan Pascasarjanan IIUM

Selangor, 31 Juli – 1 Agustus 2022 – Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Thaha Saifuddin (UIN STS) Jambi bekerja sama dengan International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) menggelar Konferensi Internasional yang berlangsung selama dua hari, bertempat di Auditorium IIUM, Selangor, Malaysia.

Konferensi ini dihadiri oleh pimpinan dari kedua institusi. Dari pihak IIUM hadir Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik, Direktur Pascasarjana, dan Direktur International Office IIUM. Sementara itu, UIN STS Jambi diwakili oleh Rektor UIN STS Jambi, Wakil Rektor I, Ketua International Office, serta Direktur Pascasarjana.

Dalam konferensi ini, Prof. Dr. Irwandi Jaswir dari IIUM tampil sebagai keynote speaker, sementara UIN STS Jambi menampilkan Dr. Dion Ginanto sebagai pembicara utama.

Konferensi ini diselenggarakan sebagai wujud nyata dari komitmen kerja sama antara UIN STS Jambi dan IIUM, sekaligus menjadi forum akademik untuk menggali dan mengembangkan tema-tema strategis seputar keislaman dan kepemimpinan Islam dalam konteks global saat ini.

Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mempererat hubungan antar kedua institusi serta membuka peluang kerja sama yang lebih luas di bidang pendidikan, riset, dan pertukaran akademik internasional.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community. Thai students Anwar and Baliya received packages from Vice Rector I, while Malaysian students Adam and Azmi were presented with gifts by Vice Rector II and Vice Rector III.
