LPPM UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi kembali Mengadakan Workshop Penulisan Artikel Jurnal Bereputasi

WARKOP (Write-in, Asistensi jurnal, Riset, Kepenulisan, Obrolan ilmiah, dan Penerbitan) LPPM UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi kembali menggelar workshop pendampingan penulisan artikel jurnal bereputasi. Kegiatan ini adalah rangkian workswop sebelumnya, yang saat ini merupkan series yang ke-3. Pada pertemuan kali ini, peserta belajar mengupas tuntas penulisan artikel pada jurnal. Menariknya, pemateri (Bapak Fibrika R. Basuki, M.Pd) membedah secara langung draft artikel jurnal dari peserta sendiri.

Workshop Series 3 ini telah menghasilkan lima draft artikel, yang kemudian direview oleh pemateri. Dalam prosesnya, Bapak Fibrika banyak menyoroti tentang penulisan nama tempat penelitian yang harusnya disamarkan. Hal ini dikarenakan, dapat merugikan instansi yang diteliti, oleh karena itu nama tempat penelitian harus dirubah dan disamarkan. Begitu juga nama participant yang diinterview, juga tidak boleh menggunakan nama asli.

Pemateri juga menyinggung tentang artikel peserta yang cenderung tidak menghubungkan data hasil penelitian dengan teori-teori yang ada sebelumnya. Lebih lanjut, dosen muda pendidikan Fisika FTK UIN STS Jambi juga, menyorot bagian-bagian literature review yang terlalu panjang. Akan lebih baik, jika dapat dipadatkan karena jurnal pada umumnya memberikan Batasan jumlah halaman. Bukan hanya itu, Pak Fibrika bahkan memberikan masukan sangat ditetail, termasuk ide judul pada beberapa draft yang direview. 

 Peserta adalah dari Dosen dan Mahasiswa Pasca Sarjana

Di akhir kegiatan, peserta sangat antusias dengan memberikan pertanyaan dan komentar terkait kegiatan bedah artikel secara langsung tersebut. Pemateri juga berharap agar kelima artikel peserta workshop ini dapat dikawal agar dapat terbit di jurnal bereputasi tingkat nasional, bahkan internasional.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community. Thai students Anwar and Baliya received packages from Vice Rector I, while Malaysian students Adam and Azmi were presented with gifts by Vice Rector II and Vice Rector III.
