Guru Ikut Serta Mengembangkan Kurikulum

Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Pendidikan Dasar dan Pendidikan Menengah (PAUD Dasmen) Kemendikbud, Jumeri mengatakan ke depan pihaknya akan membuat pembaruan kepada kurikulum. Jika saat ini guru sebagai pelaksana kurikulum, ke depan guru akan menjadi pemilik dan pembuat kurikulum.

"Jadi pemerintah hanya menetapkan kurikulum nasional, dan pengembangannya oleh bapak ibu guru," kata Jumeri, dalam diskusi daring di SMA Pradita Dirgantara, Kamis (14/1).

Kurikulum ke depan akan dibuat lebih fleksibel dan berdasarkan kompetensi. Sebelumnya, kurikulum dinilai masih berdasarkan konten dan bukan berdasarkan kompetensi. Hal inilah yang akan diubah.

"Kurikulum diwajibkan ke depan, kurikulum sebagai kerangka atau menu sehingga bapak ibu guru tadi bisa mengembangkan dalam lingkup sekolahnya atau daerahnya," kata dia menambahkan.

Ia mengatakan, pembaruan lainnya juga akan dilakukan untuk pendidikan. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) akan menyusun agar guru tidak menjadi satu-satunya sumber pengetahuan.

Jumeri mengatakan, ke depannya guru akan memiliki peran sebagai fasilitator dari berbagai sumber pengetahuan. Ia juga mengatakan secara pedagogik, Kemendikbud ingin pendidikan ke depan lebih mengikuti kemampuan dan level pencapaian siswa.

"Guru hanya membantu anak untuk menemukan, mengklarifikasi, dan memperdalam," kata Jumeri.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community.
