Mahasiswa Malaysia Konsultasi Ruang Akademik di UIN STS Jambi

Dua mahasiswa asal Malaysia, Adam dan Hisyam, melakukan konsultasi akademik bersama Wakil Rektor II UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, Dr. Pahmi, di ruang Wakil Rektor III kampus pada Senin (8/6/2026). Pertemuan ini difasilitasi oleh Dion Ginanto, Koordinator PLKI, sebagai upaya memberikan ruang akademik bagi mahasiswa internasional.

Dalam diskusi tersebut, Adam dan Hisyam menyampaikan kebutuhan akan ruang khusus untuk berdiskusi akademik bersama sesama mahasiswa internasional. Mereka juga mengusulkan pemanfaatan eks ruang RTK Umum sebagai fasilitas akademik yang dapat menunjang kegiatan belajar.

Wakil Rektor II, Dr. Pahmi, menegaskan komitmen universitas untuk segera menindaklanjuti usulan tersebut. “Kami akan usahakan untuk dapat segera mengeksekusi ruangan beserta fasilitas pendukung,” ujarnya. Dion Ginanto menambahkan apresiasinya atas dukungan pimpinan kampus. “Kami berterima kasih atas kesediaan Wakil Rektor II dalam mengusahakan fasilitas akademik untuk mahasiswa asing,” katanya.

Konsultasi ini mencerminkan keseriusan UIN STS Jambi dalam memperkuat layanan akademik bagi mahasiswa internasional. Dengan adanya ruang diskusi yang memadai, diharapkan interaksi lintas budaya semakin berkembang dan kualitas akademik mahasiswa asing dapat terjaga.

UIN STS Jambi Extends Eid al-Adha Blessings to Overseas Students

JAMBI-  UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Jambi distributed sacrificial meat packages to international students on 28 May 2026, marking Eid al-Adha with a gesture of inclusivity. The event took place in front of the former Faculty of Ushuluddin building. The initiative was aimed at allowing foreign students to experience the holiday as they would at home, while extending blessings to the wider university community. Thai students Anwar and Baliya received packages from Vice Rector I, while Malaysian students Adam and Azmi were presented with gifts by Vice Rector II and Vice Rector III.
