PLKI UIN STS Jambi Berikan Konsultasi Gratis Beasiswa Luar Negeri kepada Mahasiswa



Jambi — Pusat Layanan Karier dan Internasional (PLKI) UIN STS Jambi kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas mahasiswa melalui layanan konsultasi gratis untuk persiapan melamar beasiswa luar negeri. Layanan ini dimanfaatkan oleh dua mahasiswa dari Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) PIKMA pada Selasa, 4 November 2025, bertempat di ruang PLKI.

Kedatangan kedua mahasiswa tersebut tidak hanya untuk berkonsultasi mengenai peluang beasiswa internasional, tetapi juga sebagai langkah awal dalam mempersiapkan pelatihan beasiswa yang akan mereka selenggarakan bagi mahasiswa UIN STS Jambi lainnya. Pelatihan ini direncanakan menjadi wadah berbagi informasi dan strategi agar mahasiswa lebih siap bersaing di tingkat global.

Koordinator PLKI menyampaikan bahwa kebutuhan pelatihan beasiswa semakin mendesak mengingat peluang beasiswa luar negeri sangat beragam dan terbuka luas. “Mahasiswa UIN STS Jambi memiliki kesempatan yang sama besarnya dengan mahasiswa di Pulau Jawa. Yang membedakan hanyalah kesiapan dan akses informasi,” ujarnya.

Selain itu, proses mendapatkan beasiswa luar negeri membutuhkan persiapan yang matang, mulai dari kemampuan bahasa, dokumen akademik, hingga kualitas esai dan personal statement. Karena itu, PLKI menyediakan berbagai bentuk pendampingan yang dapat diakses mahasiswa secara gratis.

Dalam sesi konsultasi tersebut, mahasiswa PIKMA mendapatkan arahan terkait:

  • Pelatihan penulisan CV akademik dan profesional
  • Konsultasi penyusunan esai beasiswa
  • Pendampingan penulisan personal statement
  • Persiapan tes kemampuan bahasa Inggris seperti TOEFL

Kedua mahasiswa PIKMA mengaku bahwa layanan ini sangat membantu mereka memahami standar seleksi beasiswa internasional. Mereka berharap pelatihan yang akan diselenggarakan nantinya dapat membuka wawasan mahasiswa lain dan meningkatkan jumlah penerima beasiswa dari UIN STS Jambi.

PLKI berkomitmen untuk terus menjadi pusat informasi dan pendampingan bagi mahasiswa yang ingin melanjutkan studi ke luar negeri, sekaligus mendorong budaya kompetitif dan berprestasi di lingkungan kampus.
