UIN STS Jambi dan UNIMY Malaysia Gelar Seminar Internasional Bahas Kajian Melayu


Rektor UNIMY saat memberikan sambutan 

Cyberjaya, 2 Agustus 2022 – Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Thaha Saifuddin (UIN STS) Jambi menggelar Seminar Internasional bersama University Malaysia of Computer Science and Engineering (UNIMY), bertempat di Auditorium UNIMY, Malaysia.

Seminar ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman (MoU) antara UIN STS Jambi dan UNIMY, yang bertujuan memperkuat kolaborasi akademik lintas negara. Fokus utama seminar ini adalah membedah kajian budaya dan identitas Melayu yang berkembang di Jambi dan Malaysia.

Rektor UNIMY bertindak sebagai salah satu pembicara utama dalam kegiatan ini, bersama Dr. Dion Ginanto, perwakilan dari Pascasarjana UIN STS Jambi. Kedua narasumber mengangkat tema-tema seputar warisan budaya Melayu, dinamika sosial, serta tantangan pelestariannya di era digital.

Acara ini dihadiri oleh mahasiswa Pascasarjana UIN STS Jambi, mahasiswa UNIMY, Rektor dan Wakil Rektor UNIMY, Direktur Pascasarjana UIN STS Jambi, serta Ketua International Office UIN STS Jambi.

Melalui seminar ini, diharapkan hubungan akademik antara kedua institusi semakin erat dan memberikan kontribusi konkret dalam pengembangan kajian Melayu secara global.

Antalogi Puisi: Siginjai Kata-Kata (43 Penyair Jambi)

 Cover Buku Antalogi Puisi Siginjai Kata-Kata Ini adalah kali pertama saya membukukan puisi-puisi saya. Selama ini syair-syair dan mantra-mantra itu hanya bertengger pada sosial media. Namun melalui Siginjai Kata-Kata, Puisi Saya menyelinap di antara penyair-penyair Jambi: "Jika Mereka Bertanya tentang Jambi" "Adolah" Ini adalah Saya Dua puisi di atas adalah yang tersaring di antara empat puisi yang saya kirimkan. Tentu merupakan kehormatan tersendiri bagi saya dapat disandingkan dengan maestro puisi Jambi seperti: Dimas Arika Miharja, Asro al Murthawy, Buana KS, Indarto Irwanto, Jen Kelana, Rini Febriani Hauri, Nawang Wulan, Yanto Bule, Yono DL, dan Yufnical Saketi . Di mata saya, mereka adalah Sastrawan-Sastrawan Kontemporer Melayu Jambi. Buku Antalogi puisi ini menjadi buku ke-tiga yang saya tulis. Insha Alloh dalam waktu dekat, akan terlahir buku-buku lainnya.
